Frequently Asked Questions about the Service Provider Map

General Questions


How many locations can I have?

Free accounts can have one location. Paid subscribers can have up to 5.


Why is a profile listing important?

The service provider map is publicly available and is a great way to promote your business and the services you offer. In addition, the Request Service button makes it easy for growers to connect to qualified spray drone operators.


Where can I find the service provider map?

The service provider map is publicly available and discoverable by search engines. Find the service provider map at map.acreconnect.io.


How do I request services from the map?

Click on the Request Service button and fill out the form.


What information is included in a profile listing? Why?

Business name, address, contact info, services provided, locations served, years in business, acres flown. The goal is to give prospective customers key data they will need to request service.


What are the benefits of a profile listing?

The service provider map is publicly available and is a great way to promote your business and the services you offer. In addition, the Request Service button makes it easy for growers to connect to qualified spray drone operators.


Creating & Managing Your Profile


Why do I have to create an account for a profile listing?

The profile listing is only available to current AcreConnect™ accounts. However, even free accounts can take advantage of this feature.


How do I create a service provider profile?

Log in to your AcreConnect™ account. Then select Account Icon (top right). Click on the tab labeled "Service Provider Map."

Why does my service provider profile require approval?

We are reviewing all profiles to ensure they do not contain profanity or other obviously fake data.


Why was my service provider profile not approved?

Because it contained information that is not suitable or pertinent to the services offered through the service provider map.


What is the cost for a service provider profile?

The service provider profile is available for all accounts, including free accounts.


How do I update an already approved and live profile?

Log in to your AcreConnect™ account and select Account Icon (top right), then service provider map. Select the three dots next to your Service Provider information and tap “Edit.” You can now edit any of the information and submit for reapproval.


How do I add a new location?

To add multiple locations, you must be a paid AcreConnect™ subscriber. Then log in to your AcreConnect™ account and select Account Icon (top right) service provider map. You will see at the bottom of the page the “Add a Location” button. This will allow you to create an additional location.


Requesting & Receiving Service


How is a subscriber service provider profile different from a free service provider profile?

Subscribers can list multiple locations. In addition, if service is requested through the “Request Service” form, the AcreConnect™ team will work with subscribers to arrange the service.


Will you charge me for jobs I get from the map?

We do not charge for jobs you receive directly from the map. If a service request is submitted through the Request Service form, the AcreConnect™ team will coordinate the job with paid subscribers. Free AcreConnect™ users will have their location listed, but jobs will not be coordinated with them.


Do I have to be a paid user to have a service provider profile?

The service provider profile is available for all accounts, including free accounts.
