Demo Flight Log Data

Want to follow along and create your OWN Application Map? Download the following Flight logs and follow along with the steps below in this article.

The Application Date of the following Demo Flight Log is May 10th 2024 from 2:11-2:54 CST

Important Note: Before you can begin to create your application map, add our demo drone to your organization and upload the demo flight logs. Click on these links on Adding Your Aircraft To Your Organization and How To Upload Flights Logs Into AcreConnect™ for more information.

Our demo drone, to be used with the demo flight logs, is as follows:

Navigate To Application Maps

On the top menu bar, click on "Application Maps"

Create Application Map

Click on "Create As Applied Map"

Application Details

You will then be directed to the Application Details tab, where you enter information about the drone used and the application time to ensure accurate data for your Application Map.

Note: You can link the Application Map to a Product Usage Report, which will automatically populate the "Applied With" drone, along with the application date and time.

Applied With

In the "Applied With" section, select the drone used for the application. If multiple drones were involved, click the blue Plus icon and add all necessary drones.

Application Date

Select the date and time of the application to ensure the correct flight logs are retrieved for the selected drones. Be sure to choose the correct time zone.

Important Note: Accurate start and end times are essential for displaying the correct flight data. Incorrect times may result in missing logs or extra flights being included.

Once you have all your information entered, click "Continue."

Flight Log

In the Flight Log tab, you can view the drone's flight path. If the flight lines are not visible and you wish to display them, click the "S"-shaped icon in the top left corner of the map (See Below).

At the bottom of the page, you can view all the flights that make up the map. You can toggle individual flights on and off, check each flight’s takeoff and landing times, identify whether it was a spraying or spreading application, and see how the flight log was imported into AcreConnect™.

Click Continue to generate the Application Map.

Application Map

You can view your Application Map as either an As-Covered Map or an As-Applied Map.

Note: An As-Applied Map can only be generated when your data is synced to AcreConnect™ through our DJI Agras Account.

At the bottom of the page, you can view the Legend and Application Data entered in the Work Order and Product Usage Report.

Sharing Application Map

You can share your Application Map with John Deere Operations Center™ or Climate FieldView™ by selecting the "Share To" dropdown.

To learn more about connecting your AcreConnect™ account to John Deere Operations Center™ or Climate FieldView™, click the following links.

Downloading PDF or Shapefile(SHP)

You can download a PDF version of the Application Map by clicking the "Download As" dropdown and selecting "Download PDF." See example PDFs below.

Additionally, you can download the Shapefile (SHP) of the Application if you need to manually import it into another software. See example Shapefile below.
