AB Route Mode Overview
Initial Setup:
Take off with the drone before setting the AB Route.
Go to the top left-hand corner and select AB Route mode.
Setting the A Point:
Navigate to the location where you want your A Point to be (the first side of your boundary).
Use the FPV camera and the map to line up the boundary as desired.
Once in position, tap Set A Point on the right-hand side.
Tap Adjust A Heading (bottom-right) to align the dashed yellow line with a feature like a fence line. When satisfied, press OK.
Setting the B Point:
Move to the location of your B Point and tap Set B Point.
Adjust the B heading within a 120-degree limit relative to the A heading. You can also flip the flight route direction.
Task Settings:
Tap the three dots on the left-hand side to open Task Settings.
Adjust settings such as Spraying Amount, Flight Speed, Route Spacing, and Height.
Once satisfied, tap Confirm and then press Start.
Pre-Task Auto Check:
Before the mission begins, you’ll see the Pre-Task Auto Check. Ensure settings such as RC Signal Lost are set to Return-to-Home (required).
Slide to execute the mission.
Execution:
The drone will skip the first line created and will begin the task on the second line. Keep this in mind during planning.
Best Use Cases:
AB Route Mode is ideal for quick, simple, one-time autonomous missions.
It’s not saved as a field and is best for basic shapes where you don’t plan to return for future flights.
This mode allows for quick setup of flight boundaries and routes, making it efficient for simple, one-off spraying tasks.
Note: Once the B Point is set, the A Point’s heading can no longer be changed. Ensure the A heading is correct before setting the B point.
